Terms of Service

Coffee Life Explorer is a personalized coffee discovery service.

We use information about your Coffee Identity, interests, preferences and location to research and assemble individual weekly issues containing coffee-related recommendations and discoveries. These may include coffees, cafés, roasters, articles, stories, events, brewing equipment, techniques and other coffee-related content.

Each member’s issues may be different.

Coffee Life Explorer is currently offered as a monthly subscription.

The current subscription price is:

US$7.95 per month

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it.

The price and any applicable taxes or other charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your complete credit or debit card details.

By subscribing, you authorize Stripe and Osiris Marketing Inc. to charge the applicable subscription fee to your selected payment method at each renewal until you cancel.

After your subscription begins, your first personalized issue will be prepared and is expected to arrive within 24 hours.

After that, you will normally receive a new personalized issue each week.

Delivery times may occasionally vary because of technical problems, service interruptions, unusually high demand or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You may cancel your Coffee Life Explorer subscription at any time.

You can cancel online using the subscription-management or cancellation option provided by Coffee Life Explorer.

You may also use the Manage subscription link included in member emails.

There is no cancellation fee.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and your paid subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.

Subscription payments for a billing period that has already begun are generally non-refundable, except where:

• applicable law requires a refund;
• you have been charged incorrectly; or
• we choose to provide a refund in the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation or other consumer right that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Coffee Life Explorer researches and evaluates recommendations with care, but coffee is a constantly changing world.

Prices, availability, menus, event dates, business hours, shipping policies, products and other information may change after an issue has been prepared.

We therefore cannot guarantee that every piece of information or every third-party offering will remain current or available after publication.

Coffee Life Explorer recommendations are provided for information and discovery. You remain responsible for deciding whether a particular product, business, event or other recommendation is suitable for you.

Coffee Life Explorer frequently links to websites, businesses, products and services operated by third parties.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their websites, products, services, policies, availability or transactions.

If you purchase something from or otherwise deal with a third party, that transaction is between you and the third party and may be subject to that party’s own terms and privacy policies.

Coffee Life Explorer uses software, search technology and artificial intelligence to assist with research, evaluation, personalization and preparation of issues.

These systems help us provide the service but are not infallible. Information may occasionally be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.

We continuously aim to improve the quality and reliability of Coffee Life Explorer, but we do not guarantee that every recommendation will perfectly match your preferences.

Coffee Life Explorer, including its original writing, branding, design, Coffee Identity system and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Osiris Marketing Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your subscription is for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may share individual links and recommendations with friends, but you may not systematically copy, reproduce, republish, sell or distribute Coffee Life Explorer issues or other proprietary content without our permission.

Third-party articles, images, trademarks and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You agree not to misuse Coffee Life Explorer or interfere with the operation or security of the service.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, use automated methods to extract substantial amounts of content, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

We aim to keep Coffee Life Explorer operating reliably, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may occasionally need to maintain, modify or temporarily suspend part of the service.

If a significant problem affects your subscription, we will take reasonable steps to resolve it.

We may improve, modify or change aspects of Coffee Life Explorer over time.

We may also change the subscription price in the future. Any price change affecting an existing paid member will apply prospectively and will be communicated in advance as required by applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to Coffee Life Explorer if a member seriously violates these Terms, misuses the service, engages in fraudulent activity or creates a security or legal risk.

Where reasonable, we will provide notice before doing so.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms do not take away rights that applicable consumer-protection laws give you and that cannot legally be waived or limited.

If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right that applies where you live, that mandatory right will prevail.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in the jurisdiction where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time as Coffee Life Explorer changes or as legal requirements evolve.

If we make a material change affecting your subscription, we will provide appropriate notice.

The date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last updated.
